Group Waiting Lists

The popularity of the 30th Reigate Scout Group ('The Group') has meant that each section is running at capacity or near capacity levels of young people, both for the number of leaders and the size of the Hall. There are many who wish to join The Group and unfortunately there are many who are unlikely to receive a place in any section at this time.

The Group has considered the management of the Waiting List and how best to be fair to all parties. After much deliberation the Group Executive has agreed to implement the policy as set out below.

The Executive Committee - 30th Reigate Scout Group.

Note: Entry to all sections is open to both males and females.

Beavers

Beavers - 6 to 8 year olds

The Beaver waiting list is now open until further notice, for new applications from non-existing Members between the ages of 4 and 6 years.

Over 18s - Beavers through to Explorers covers the 6 to 18 age range; if you are interested in scouting and adventurous activities and are aged 18 to 25, you should consider Network (see link, left). Reigate has an active Network offering a wide range of socials and activities.

Adults- Although the primary aim of Scouting is to offer development opportunities for young people; it is also an excellent place for Adults looking for challenge and adventure. The reward of coaching and educating young people is without parallel. We are always interested to hear from motivated adults who are interested in offering their time and skills in exchange for the experience of a lifetime.

Any Adult who feels they are able to offer their time and enthusiasm to help the Group in any way should contact our Group Scout Leader at: - group email

Parents - you can see more content on this site by logging in using the account emailed out by your section leader.
