Scoutabout 2011
Scoutabout is back and this time it is going to be bigger and better than ever. The tri-annual County activity camp attracts over 6,000 Scouts and Guides from across Surrey for a weekend of non-stop activities. Click on the poster below to download the full-size version!
All of the Scouts have the opportunity to take part in this memorable event, which will be held at the South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex. As this event only happens once every three years, it is unlikely that are current Scouts will have the opportunity to attend again in 2014. Over the weekend the Scouts will have the opportunity to take part in over 200 activities including: parascending, caving, go-karting, rock climbing, bungee running, shooting, archery and kayaking! To sign up for the camp, simply complete the permission slip on the letter (to be found in Scouts / Documents / Private Documents, along with the poster for the camp) and return it to a section night with payment of £40 before Friday 11th February.
