Scouts - Overcoming Fear - February 2009 |

There is nothing some Scouts like more than putting their feet into cold green slime and fishing out paper clips with their toes. It's just another excuse to get messy. Jumping blindfold from a table apparently four feet off the floor is just like getting out of the top bunk bed of course, teenagers don't open their eyes before breakfast. Putting your hand in a jar of apparently live large insects is no more difficult than retrieving the plastic toy from a cereal packet.

Scouts - Caving - February 2009 |

About 30 Scouts took part in a Caving Experience in the Merstham Mines. All returned safely, though there was some concern that a couple of the Leaders would not escape, due to tight gaps and larger waistlines! Here are a couple of pictures from the visit.
